Squarespace Debuts Email Campaign Tool for SMBs

Squarespace has launched a service called Squarespace Email Campaigns, designed to help SMBs to send email campaigns that mirror the style and content of their websites.

The offering allows users to choose from customizable layouts, populate them with content and automatically pull in brand logos and social icons and send email campaigns with hiring additional personnel, the company says. The layouts work across all devices, it adds.

Marketers can deploy the service to send product descriptions, blog posts, announcements or other types of content, Squarespace says.

The new features include:

  • Content automation, allowing users to import content directly from their websites while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Mailing lists, enabling clients to segment audiences and use separate mailing lists to send the most relevant content to subscribers.
  • Campaign analytics, designed to identify the types of content that drive sales and engagement, based on open and click-through rates and other metrics.

Squarespace Email Campaigns will be available to existing Squarespace customers at no cost for a limited time, and for general use at a low monthly rate, the firm says.
